Assist with prescription dispensing functions, pharmacy services, and daily pharmacy operations while providing timely customer service.

Responsibilities

• Gather prescription information, process payments, and refer clinical questions or counseling needs to the pharmacist.
• Receive prescription orders, process third-party billing, handle pharmacy correspondence, and file documentation.
• Enter prescription data, process refill requests, select medications, and count or measure, package, and label prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate information in pharmacy systems and follow pharmacy standards, operating procedures, and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• A diploma from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant course is preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Organizational skills, multitasking ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Compensation and benefits
