We are seeking skilled Pipe Welders proficient in various welding techniques. The ideal candidate will be experienced in interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment, power tools, and performing high-quality welds in compliance with TSSA.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications accurately.
- Operate manual or welding equipment using processes such as:
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG)
- Advanced skill in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
- Operate manual flame cutting equipment.
- Use brazing and soldering equipment for metal joining.
- Operate metal working power tools.
- Weld high pressure stainless and carbon pipe in all positions.
- Prepare, execute and clean welds.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to workplace safety protocols.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Complete full-time work schedule in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions.
Qualification Requirements- Proficient in 6G TIG and SMAW welding techniques.
- Ability to weld using electrodes 6010 and 7018.
- 1-5 year experience TIG welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe.
- 1-5 year field experience.
- 1-5 year experience SMAW welding carbon high-pressure lines.
- Must pass TSSA welding certification for TIG and SMAW 6G.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Clean criminal background.
- Good verbal communication skills.
