Porter / Kitchen & Distillery Support Staff (Part-Time)
Ryes & Shine Craft Distillery – Langford, BC
15–20 hours per week
Ryes & Shine Craft Distillery is looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter to support our kitchen, cocktail lounge, and production team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, and is ready to jump in wherever needed.
As a key support team member, you’ll help ensure our guests, kitchen, and distillery operations stay efficient, clean, and fully stocked.
Responsibilities:- Assist with food prep and service support
- Prepare select menu items during service
- Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen/bar equipment
- Restock kitchen line, bar supplies, and service areas
- Support weekly deep cleaning and daily maintenance tasks
- Bus tables and assist front-of-house as needed
- Run food to guests during service
- Help with bottle prep, labeling, and production support in the distillery
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across multiple departments

- Food service, kitchen, or hospitality experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be able to lift moderate loads and be on your feet for extended periods
