We’re thrilled to be staffing for the spring/summer season at Autostrada Hospitality, in the beautiful oceanside community of Britannia Beach. Inspired by the bounty of the West Coast, our culinary focus is in showcasing local ingredients in elevated coastal cuisine.

Recently we opened Autostrada Oyster Bar and Grill - Britannia Beach. Our success is driven by a team of talented, passionate professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding food, thoughtful service, and exceptional wine and cocktails.

We are hiring prep cooks with Two or more years of restaurant experience is preferred. For these entry-level cook positions, we are excited to welcome candidates with a willingness to learn, a great attitude, and a passion for the guest experience.

What you will do

• Work 7 to 3, 8 to 4 or 9 to 5.
• 5 days a week
• Food Preparation: Chop, mix, prep ingredients, and cook dishes (grilling, frying, sautéing) per recipes and standards.
• Station Management: Set up and stock the assigned station (pantry, grill, etc.) with food and supplies.
• Quality & Presentation: Ensure dishes meet quality, taste, and plating specifications.
• Timeliness: Cook and assemble orders efficiently to meet service times.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean workstation, follow health codes, and store food properly.
• Inventory: Monitor stock, restock items during shifts, and help with prep lists
• Teamwork: Communicate and work with other team members effectively and respectfully

What You Bring to Our Team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Physical stamina (standing long periods, lifting).
• Attention to detail for recipes, portion control, and presentation.
• Team player mentality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
