Primary Responsibilities for the Press Assistant:

• Supports production process by packing pouches into boxes to prepare for shipment
• Performs other related duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of our operations
• Prepare for production run by organizing and cleaning workspace for the next job
• Ensure materials are available for the next job run scheduled
• Support operator with machine maintenance and cleaning
• Supports operator on Pouch Machine by making minor adjustments to machine as needed
• Testing bags as per our quality control requirements
• Fill out paperwork as needed for production jobs
• Follow schedule for production jobs
• Follows all safety and food-safe procedures and complies with company policies

Qualifications for the Press Assistant:

• Accuracy & Attention to detail
• Team-player
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Great written and verbal communication

Hours:

Dayshift, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm.
