Principal AI Research Engineer (Computer Graphics & Neural Rendering)

What you will achieve in this role:- Lead advanced research and applied engineering initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence and computer graphics.
- Drive strategic technical direction for neural rendering and AI-based graphics while mentoring engineers and applied researchers.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in AI-driven rendering technologies, including:
- Neural rendering acceleration
- Neural material representation
- Neural texture compression
- Translate innovative research concepts into scalable, production-ready solutions for integration into real-world commercial products.
- Provide technical leadership through architectural guidance, research insight, and cross-functional collaboration across R&D teams.
- Author high-quality research papers and/or patents documenting technical breakthroughs and novel methodologies.
- Work within a world-class R&D Organization comprised of computer graphics experts, applied researchers, software architects, and standards specialists advancing next-generation graphics and rendering systems.
What you must bring to this role:- 5+ years of professional industry engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in computer graphics–related roles.
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on applied machine learning for computer graphics or computer vision.
- Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning, including:
- Deep Neural Networks (DNNs)
- Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)
- Vision Transformers (ViT)
- Diffusion models
- Demonstrated experience with neural representations and neural rendering techniques, such as:
- NeRF
- Gaussian Splatting
- Neural rendering pipelines
- Procedural generation
- SVBRDF modeling
- Excellent prototyping skills using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Proven ability to rapidly translate research ideas into functional prototypes.
- Publication record in top-tier conferences or journals, including:
- SIGGRAPH, Eurographics, ACM TOG
- CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI
- Strong programming experience with shader languages such as GLSL and HLSL.
- Experience designing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems for computer vision and graphics, including:
- Model architecture design
- Data collection and augmentation
- Training, evaluation, and optimization pipelines
