OverviewWe are seeking a PAM Specialist with deep hands‑on experience in CyberArk PVWA to design, implement, and validate Privileged Access Management solutions across a complex enterprise environment. This role combines technical CyberArk configuration, IAM/PAM integration, and structured testing/validation to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant privileged access controls.
The ideal candidate understands how to build and govern PAM solutions in a predominantly Microsoft ecosystem, can troubleshoot and correct misconfigured CyberArk environments, and brings strong communication skills to influence architecture, security, and delivery teams.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement CyberArk PAM solutions, with a strong focus on PVWA
- Configure and maintain CyberArk vaults, safes, policies, platforms, connectors, and privileged workflows
- Integrate CyberArk with infrastructure, applications, and IAM platforms (including SailPoint)
- Support onboarding of privileged accounts, systems, service accounts, and application credentials
- Ensure PAM solutions align with security architecture, governance standards, and audit requirements
- Develop and execute test plans for IAM and PAM platforms (CyberArk, SailPoint, Microsoft identity services)
- Validate identity lifecycle flows, privileged access workflows, and cross‑platform integrations
- Perform functional, regression, and security‑focused testing across access scenarios
- Identify defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering and delivery teams on remediation
- Ensure all solutions meet defined requirements, controls, and acceptance criteria
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PAM processes, documentation, and operational standards
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent training
- 3–8 years of hands‑on experience with CyberArk PVWA (required)
- Experience with CyberArk PCloud is a strong advantage
- Experience integrating CyberArk ↔ SailPoint or other IAM platforms
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, privileged access models, and governance controls
- Ability to assess and correct misconfigured CyberArk environments
- Experience designing and executing structured test plans for IAM/PAM integrations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft identity ecosystems (Active Directory, Entra ID, PIM, Conditional Access)
- Clear, influential communicator able to work across security, architecture, and delivery teams
- Experience in industries with critical systems (travel, airline, transportation, utilities, finance, healthcare) is an asset
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
Location: Can be fully remote. Preference for candidates able to visit Calgary office occasionally.
Duration: 1 yr initial contract (likely to be extended)

Pay: $25.60-$55.62 per hour
