Job SummaryUnder supervision of the Information Technology Coordinator (Identity and Security Operations), this position develops, enhances, maintains and supports centralized and departmental computing systems, with a primary focus on end user device security, operations, monitoring and incident response.
Duties & Responsibilities- Prepares proposals and recommendations for management action.
- Design, develop, implement, and support solutions related to endpoint and end-user device security within the Corporation, ensuring alignment with security best practices.
- Monitor endpoint security posture, investigate issues and trends, and participate in remediation activities related to vulnerabilities, malware, unauthorized software, configuration drift, and device compliance.
- Develop and maintain scripts, reports, workflows, and system integrations to improve endpoint security operations, compliance monitoring, and incident response.
- Responds to, and resolves, device related security incidents and system failures, as required.
- Performs project roles as assigned.
- Maintains current knowledge of IT trends, procedures and standards.
- Provides training, advice and guidance to staff, as required.
- Assists with the development of Corporate IT policies, procedures and standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation, Training and Experience RequirementsDegree in computer science plus four years' progressively responsible experience in Information Technology OR successful completion of a recognized, two-year, post-secondary computer technology or business systems program plus six years' progressively responsible experience in Information Technology.
Relevant certifications such as Security+, Microsoft security or endpoint management certifications is an asset.
To this posting, experience must involve:
- Delivering packaged applications to user computing devices with tools such as MECM and Intune
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) would be an asset
- Developing management reports utilizing tools such as PowerBI
- Experience deploying group policies to windows devices with tools such as Intune
- Scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Microsoft Active Directory management
- Azure development
Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
