Scotiabank's GWMS Digital Client Services value stream is modernizing and enhancing client and account onboarding platforms for Scotia Wealth Management. The iTrade Client Onboarding team is seeking a client-focused technical lead to design and develop enterprise application components and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and implement complex business requirements.
• Develop technical designs, investigate and recommend solutions, and deliver applications using agile methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership, coordinate across teams, mentor resources, and support production and releases.
• Work with architects, developers, business stakeholders, technical support teams, regulatory and compliance groups, and senior leadership.
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business requirements and technical architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least five years of development experience and experience across the software development life cycle.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and microservices or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts, Microsoft Azure, SQL databases, Git, CI/CD and production monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of agile or Scrum practices, UNIX/Linux, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry, SonarQube, Fortify, Blackduck, or security concepts is an asset.

Location and schedule

Full-time, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
