The OpportunityThe Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the VP of Project Management & Administration and the Construction team by coordinating schedules, documentation, communication, and resources to ensure the successful execution of mechanical and plumbing construction projects.
This role is intentionally structured as a development position, offering coaching, exposure, and increasing responsibility with the goal of progressing into a Project Manager role as experience and capability grow.

What a Typical Day Looks LikeYou may start your day reviewing RFIs and submittals, coordinating upcoming work with site supervisors, and updating project schedules. Throughout the day, you’ll communicate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams, attend meetings or site visits, track project progress, and help resolve issues before they impact schedule or cost. No two days are the same, and you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to all phases of a mechanical construction project.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities
- Coordinate project documentation, including RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents
- Maintain accurate and well‑organized project files in accordance with project and company standards
- Support effective communication between field and office teams
- Facilitate communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Track project progress and identify potential risks or delays for escalation
- Participate in client meetings and site visits
- Contribute to post‑project reviews and lessons learned
- Uphold and promote The Analog Way by prioritizing safety, quality, teamwork, growth, and respect for people
- Perform other duties as required
Growth Path – Future Project Manager ResponsibilitiesAs the role develops, responsibilities may expand to include:
- Leading mechanical and plumbing projects from initiation through closeout
- Managing schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and resources
- Developing detailed project timelines aligned with project objectives
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Maintaining strong client relationships and providing regular project updates
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Taking accountability for overall project outcomes and team performance
Qualifications & Skills- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or a related role within commercial or multi‑family construction (mechanical or plumbing preferred)
- Trade experience, field exposure, or education in construction, engineering, or project management is an asset
- Project management training or certifications (GSC, PMP, etc.) are considered a plus but not required
- Understanding of construction processes, mechanical systems, and project workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with software such as Sage 100 or Trimble AutoBid Mechanical is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communicator with good problem‑solving ability
