As Regional Project Developer this position works in a matrix environment, which requires strong and effective working relationships with colleagues, superiors, communities, and health service partners and organizations. The Regional Project Developer operates within a community of practice established in the Policy, Planning & Transformation Department.

Hours37.5 per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
LocationPark Royal (Metro Vancouver) location on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About the roleThe Regional Project Developer works with First Nations and health system partners through established regional processes to develop local, sub-regional, and region-wide project plans and documentation. This includes analysis, work planning, drafting, budgeting, and preparing reports, presentations, and briefings using existing tools and templates where possible. The role also supports management and may oversee project teams and budgets as needed. Working in a matrix environment, the position requires strong relationships with colleagues, leadership, communities, and health partners, and operates within the Policy, Planning & Transformation Department’s community of practice.
About youTo be successful in this role you will have-
Education- University Degree in a related field such as health policy, public policy, health systems management, political or social science, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience- Recent and relevant experience in policy, project, or program development, including financial and resource management (usually acquired over a period of 5-7 years)
- Experience in working with First Nations and First Nations health programs and services
