What You’ll Do Day-To-Day:- Support project leadership on projects and manage elements and functions under the direct supervision of a project manager.
- Prepare project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
- Utilize approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations.
- Provide primary interface between project team, management and client.
- Develop assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
- Coordinate multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
- Define and forecast needed skills to meet project objectives.
- Manage the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices.
- Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
- Actively participate in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
- Must obtain Framatome specific Project Management Certification upon hire.
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of the project management development plan, implementation and administration.
- Business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
- Excellent report development and presentation skills.
