Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Project Logistics division in Western Canada. This role is pivotal in developing strategic customer relationships and delivering innovative logistics solutions for large-scale EPC projects, oil & gas, mining, and marine industries.
How you create impact- Develop business for the Project Logistics department based on set gross profit targets.
- Act as the strategic point of contact for solution development, aligning with Project Managers and BU Managers.
- Create, monitor, and execute business plans for strategic customers, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Lead local tender management, preparing technical and commercial submissions, and liaising with pricing desks and global tender teams.
- Maintain strong communication channels with customers and operations to ensure expectations are met.
- Conduct regular business reviews with strategic customers, introducing innovation and continuous improvement.
- Serve as key account manager for assigned accounts, building and strengthening strategic relationships.

What we would like you to bring- 5+ years in a project logistics environment.
- Project planning, KPI creation, and implementation experience.
- 3+ years in EPC project planning and execution experience.
- Strong understanding of multi-modal transportation in a project setting.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. This role may also be eligible for annual performance based incentives and other employer provided perks or allowances. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
