Job Duties- Review assigned projects with estimators as required to understand:
- Contract requirements.
- Drawings and Specifications (if applicable)
- Scope of work (inclusions and exclusions)
- Proposed budget.
- Proposed Schedule.
- Keep Project checklist up to date.
- Overall project planning including Final Scope of Work, Schedule and Budget.
- Ensure project submittals are completed and sent and approved by client.
- Ensure Procore project is maintained and up to date:
- Directory
- Budget
- Change orders
- Documents
- Drawings
- Daily Log including time sheet approvals
- Stay up to date with project progress.
- Continual client management and communication throughout the project including:
- Project plan, schedule and progress.
- Changes via change orders
- Billing (approval of Schedule of Values)
- Continual internal communication throughout the project including:
- Billing: Schedule of Values, Progress Draws, and Final Billing to finance.
- Financial Reports: Financial health (current costs/anticipated cost vs. budget).
- Operations: Project needs and requirements regarding manpower and equipment.
- Health and Safety: Site specific training or H&S requirements.
- Estimating: Understanding what was included and feedback on actuals vs estimated quantities.
- Delegate project planning related tasks to Junior Project Managers/Coordinators.
Requirements- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Project Management, PMP, or an appropriate field is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Ability to read and interpret building specifications, blueprints and as-builds.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR an asset.
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
- Time management skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current.
- Strong working mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Work Conditions- Use of Personal Protection Equipment may be required (e.g. hard-hat, safety boots, etc.).
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object.
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
