Project Manager – Municipal / Civil Construction

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee municipal civil and landscape construction projects in the Ottawa region. The Project Manager, working in conjunction with Head Office, will be responsible for overall project delivery, including cost control, scheduling, client communication, subcontractor management, and contract administration. This role works closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure successful execution in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full project lifecycle from award to close-out
- Prepare and manage monthly billing, progress claims, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate subcontractor scopes, contracts, and procurement
- Manage project schedules and monitor progress against baseline timelines
- Lead client, consultant, and municipal stakeholder communications
- Review drawings, specifications, and manage RFIs, change orders, and field directives
- Support risk management and issue resolution throughout construction
- Conduct site visits and coordinate closely with Site Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with, Health and Safety Policies, contract requirements and municipal standards
Qualifications- 5+ years experience preferable in construction project management (municipal, civil, or landscape preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience with municipal clients, parks projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in project management, scheduling and supervision
Pay: $70,000.00-$99,000.00 per year
