Project Manager – Strategy & Impact Business Enablement
Randstad Canada is recruiting a Project Manager for a client in the agri-financial sector. The role requires 5–8 years of experience leading projects, programs, and business transformations.
- Duration: 5 months, with a possibility of extension
- Location: Remote; work CST hours
- Pay rate: $79–$95 per hour (INC)

Responsibilities
- Lead projects or initiatives through the full project lifecycle, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
- Lead discovery, planning, requirements gathering, workshops, stakeholder interviews, and governance discussions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk and issue logs, dependency logs, communication plans, governance processes, and status reports.
- Manage scope changes, assess impacts, and support governance decisions.
- Coordinate deliverables across internal teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders, including communications, marketing, digital, content, event, partnership, and engagement workstreams.
- Build stakeholder relationships and lead cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
- Monitor project performance and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
- Prepare project updates, options analyses, recommendations, and decision materials for sponsors and executives.
- Support Agile and hybrid delivery, including backlog, roadmap, and sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify improvements to project delivery, governance, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of business experience, including at least 3–4 years leading projects, programs, organizational change, or business transformation.
- Experience managing projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, implementation, and close-out.
- Experience creating project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, budgets, governance frameworks, communication plans, and status reports.
- Experience with requirements gathering, scope management, stakeholder alignment, and management of risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, and/or traditional project delivery and presenting recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, and senior leaders.
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline or equivalent experience, and a project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent.
- Preferred background in communications and engagement, stakeholder partnerships, marketing, events, content production, or digital media delivery.
