Quality Assurance Reviewer (Full Time/Contract) - Paris, ON
The QA Associate is responsible for a variety of duties related to the safe filling, quality assurance, and shipment of gas mixtures and pure gases.
This is a full-time, 9-month contract position with a starting hourly rate of $26.92.
Major responsibilities:- Ensuring that orders for gases of high quality, low tolerance are safely produced in a timely fashion commensurate with customer needs, ensuring that all products leaving the plant conform to internal Quality Control Manual requirements as well as governmental and regulatory requirements
- Completion and filing of QC documentation and labeling of compressed gas cylinders
- Analyzing mixed gases for quantification of component concentrations, and pure gases for trace contaminants using gas chromatography, non-dispersive infrared spectroscopy, and other gas specific analyzers
- Handling customer inquiries regarding delivery times, specifications and physical data relating to the package and/or products
- Following Linde Operations Information System (LOIS) family of databases for inspection and testing of incoming, in-process and final product and materials affecting product quality
- Ensuring that analyses are completed according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Linde Operations Information System (POIS) procedures
- Performing the final review and release of fill logs, test records and certificates of analysis for proper completion and compliance
- Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances, determining and implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs)
- Taking appropriate actions when any product fails to meet the required specifications
- Proper filing and retention of completed medical records
- Review of all analytical instrument maintenance logs
- Ensuring all medical labels/tags are properly controlled and reconciled
- Implementing and maintaining site validation
- Performing instrument installation and maintenance and analytical method development
Required Qualifications:Education:- Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline

- Very detail oriented and able to prioritize work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with computer word processing and spread sheets
- Ability to handle the known physical demands of both cylinder filling and analysis
