OverviewOur Firm is currently seeking a Real Estate Legal Secretary to work with our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, articulate, and a team-player, with a long-term interest for growth and development within the Firm. This individual will have a minimum of two (2) years of real estate experience and will possess excellent organizational abilities and communication skills or be a graduate of a community college legal secretary program. The individual will be driven to meet a high standard of excellence while working within a fast-paced, professional environment.

Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our legal team, including managing schedules and appointments, drafting correspondence and legal documents where advised.
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate parties.
- Maintaining and organizing client files.
- preparing documents for a real estate transaction (including but not limited to transfer, charge, standard closing documents)
- Performing other administrative tasks as required.
Key Requirements- At least two (2) years of real estate experience or be a graduate of a community college legal secretary program.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on-site (i.e. this role is not remote).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures an asset.
- Legal secretarial experience an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Unity, Closer and Teraview
