Remote Sales Rep (Web + SaaS) — 20% Commission (Sales Territories available across Canada)

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for sales representatives with experience in both sales and tech—people who can sell by communicating clearly, building trust, and connecting with prospects, not by manipulating or misleading. We will only hire those who value their moral compass over making a sale. No pressure tactics. No misleading claims. Ever.

Who we are

We’re a couple-month-old web development and web services startup focused on helping those who help other people help more—by building high-quality websites for a fair price. We’re beginning to offer SaaS services designed by our CTO as well (including tools like ERPs and CRMs). While the company is new, I (the owner) have been an entrepreneur for the last 6 years, and our team is full of smart, experienced talent.

Compensation

• Contractor role: This is an independent contractor position (not an employee role)
• Commission: 20% of gross revenue
• When commission is earned: When the contract is signed and the payment is received
• Recurring services: 20% commission on recurring services, calculated as 20% of the first year’s revenue
• Payout schedule: Paid every 30 days (monthly payout cycle)

What you’ll be selling

• Websites typically $1,000+
• Web services and (as we roll them out) SaaS solutions such as ERPs/CRMs

What the position entails

This is a cold calling role.

We provide:

• Training documents on our company and services
• Basic outreach scripts
• A set of leads delivered weekly

You are expected to:

• Run the outreach and sales process with minimal sales-process training
• Source some of your own leads via Google search (primarily companies without websites)
• Close deals and collect the deposit

Handoff / what happens after the close

Your job is complete once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid. After that, the client profile is handed over to our CTO for the next meeting/onboarding.

Tools / requirements

• Canada-wide territory (remote)
• You’ll use your own phone
