Overview:We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be proficient in maintaining job costing while excelling in weekly customer updates. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
This role will involve travel to various job sites throughout the Quinte Region. The work week is Monday to Thursday (10 hour days) with every Friday off. We offer a benefit package, company vehicle, laptop, cell and an additional 2 weeks paid leave at Christmas.
Duties:- Manage and lead construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction process, including creation of change orders.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, cleanliness and safety concerns and resolve any issues that may arise
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders
Skills:- Proficient in construction blueprint reading and permit applications with various local municipalities.
- Professionalism and strong written and verbal communication.
