The Restoration Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing emergency and restoration projects from initial site inspection through project completion. Daily responsibilities include managing project progress, coordinating trades and vendors, performing site inspections, communicating with insured clients and adjusters, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and professionally.
The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously, and experience working in fast-paced environments. The Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting insurance claim processes, monitoring quality control, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, solution-driven, and capable of maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple restoration projects simultaneously while maintaining strong control over project progress, customer service, timelines, and financial performance.
- Oversee all phases of emergency and restoration claims, including site inspections, scoping, sketching, estimating, coordination of trades and vendors, and project closeout.
- Maintain effective communication with insured clients, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal team members throughout all project stages.
- Coordinate and supervise project schedules, resource allocation, and work delivery plans to maximize efficiency, productivity, and project execution.
- Ensure all project documentation, including Restoration Management System (RMS) and Xactimate/XactAnalysis files, is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Support and coordinate Project Coordinators, Construction Managers, and subcontractors to ensure responsibilities and project objectives are properly executed.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by trades and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project scope, company standards, and work orders.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with trades, vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism while managing fast-paced restoration and emergency environments.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and applicable provincial and municipal regulations.
Experience- 3–5 years of direct experience within the emergency restoration and insurance claims industry.
- IICRC Certification is required.
- Experience with Xactimate and XactAnalysis is required.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and support teams in fast-paced operational environments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to maintain professionalism with clients, adjusters, vendors, and internal teams.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general project/document management systems.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License is required.
- Additional certifications related to Project Management, Restoration, or Construction are considered an asset.
