Job Overview

Radius Disposal is looking for a reliable and experienced Roll-Off Driver to join our team in the Lower Mainland. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport and dispose of waste materials using roll-off containers. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong driving ability, a commitment to safety, and the physical capability to handle demanding work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver waste bins to job sites and disposal facilities across the Lower Mainland
• Safely load, secure, and unload roll-off containers
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement requirements
• Maintain accurate logs, including electronic or paper logbooks, as required
• Follow all provincial traffic laws and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel
• Assist with routine truck maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence or Class 3 Driver’s Licence with air brake endorsement
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating heavy trucks (roll-off experience preferred)
• Experience in waste management, recycling, or construction is an asset
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Strong understanding of safe driving practices and load securement
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including handling heavy equipment and materials
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

Full-time position

Work throughout the Lower Mainland (e.g., Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond)

Early mornings, extended hours, and overtime may be required

Outdoor work in various weather conditions

$32.25-$37.50 per hour
