Job Summary

Zap Courier Service Toronto is seeking reliable and motivated Route Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing scheduled delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned delivery routes efficiently and on schedule
• Pick up, transport, and deliver packages to customers and businesses
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle while following traffic laws and company policies
• Load and unload packages carefully and securely
• Verify delivery information and obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Resolve delivery issues professionally and promptly
• Assist with additional logistics and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driving, courier, logistics, or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong navigation and route-planning skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages as required
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
