About the RoleFacilipay is looking for a SaaS Inside Sales Executive to manage inbound sales enquiries, re-engage previous prospects, and convert suitable SME opportunities into customers.
This is a phone-led, process-driven role requiring strong follow-up discipline, CRM organisation, and the confidence to speak with business owners and decision-makers.
You will be responsible for responding quickly to new enquiries, qualifying prospects, running discovery calls, demonstrating Facilipay’s solutions, preparing proposals, managing follow-up, and closing suitable SME opportunities.
You will also work through previous inbound enquiries and dormant opportunities to identify prospects who may now be ready to re-engage. The role may also involve targeted sales development activity into priority sectors where there is a clear fit for Facilipay’s products.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who wants to grow in SaaS, FinTech, payments, and hospitality technology.
Key Responsibilities- Respond quickly and professionally to inbound sales enquiries.
- Contact prospects by phone, email, and video call to understand their needs and assess fit.
- Run structured discovery calls with business owners, operators, and decision-makers.
- Demonstrate Facilipay’s products and explain how they can support the customer’s business.
- Prepare and follow up on proposals for suitable SME opportunities.
- Manage smaller inbound opportunities from first enquiry through to closed won.
- Re-engage previous inbound leads and dormant opportunities that did not previously convert.
- Follow up on sales and marketing campaign activity where prospects have shown interest.
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, including call notes, deal stages, next steps, and follow-up tasks.
- Work with senior sales, onboarding, and customer success colleagues to ensure a smooth handover for new customers.
- Carry out targeted sales development activity into priority sectors or accounts where required.
What We’re Looking For- 1-3 years’ experience in sales, sales development, business development, account management, or another customer-facing commercial role.
- Confidence speaking with prospects by phone, video call, and email.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Good organisation and follow-up discipline is essential to this role.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to make calls and progress opportunities.
- Comfortable working to activity, pipeline, and sales targets.
- Interest in technology, SaaS, FinTech, payments, hospitality, or retail.
- Ability to learn and explain software products clearly.
- Experience using HubSpot or another CRM would be an advantage.
