What we are looking forWe are looking to fill a full time position for Sales Associate / Optometric Assistant. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, approachable, able to learn quickly, willing to understand and take direction, able to work in a team environment, someone who pays attention to detail and has great customer service and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Sales
- Reception and administrative duties including scheduling, faxing, scanning, answering all incoming calls and emails
- Pre-testing patients using office equipment (autorefractor, lensometer, Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Cirrus OCT Analyzer, Lipiscan and Lipiflow)
- Perform a contact lens teach
- Frame styling along with adjustments and measurements
- Lens verification
- Frame repairs
- Patient consultation on lens technology
- Patient consultation on contact lens use as well as wear and care
- Enter and monitor lab and contact lens orders
- Maintain office appearance and cleanliness
- Participate in personal and team development training, meetings and continuing education
- Maintain professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, hygiene and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures
- Flexible to support at other locations as needed

Qualifications- Optometric office experience an asset
- Sales experience and asset
- Must be able to maintain a 40 hour workweek spanning but not limited to Tuesday through Saturday
Office Hours- 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Tuesday - Friday
- 8:30 am - 3:00 pm Saturday
- HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE HOURS ABOVE
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
