The Kitchen Lead is responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and ensure meals are prepared and served in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities include:- Oversee meal preparation and provide guidance to those serving.
- Support inventory management.
- Ensure the kitchen areas are safe, organized, clean, and well-maintained. Ensure all Food Safe protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Understand the kitchen schedule and operating procedures. Train volunteers and summer Kitchen Assistants on all processes.
- You will be expected to have your Food Safe certification.
- Prior camp/ large scale kitchen experience preferred but not required.
