About the roleAs a Senior Consulting Manager – Insurance, you will make an impact by leading large-scale transformation initiatives for insurance clients, with a strong focus on core systems modernization and digital enablement. You will be a valued member of Cognizant Consulting’s Insurance practice and work collaboratively with clients, cross-functional Cognizant teams, and industry leaders to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
In this role, you will:- Lead and deliver complex insurance transformation programs, including core system modernization initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, translating business challenges into actionable technology and operating model solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise across insurance domains, supporting large, multi-tower transformation engagements in collaboration with other Cognizant practices.
- Drive requirements analysis, solution design, and delivery execution using Cognizant methodologies and industry best practices.
- Support go-to-market initiatives by contributing insights on market trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities within the insurance industry.
- Manage senior client relationships, project governance, and ongoing communication, including executive-level status reporting and issue resolution.

What you must have to be considered- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience within the insurance industry, with consulting experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading large-scale P&C core system transformations, including platforms such as Guidewire and Duck Creek.
- Strong ability to assess business needs and evaluate impacts across complex insurance operations and technology environments.
- Experience working in cross-functional, global delivery teams with flexibility to support multiple time zones.
These will help you succeed- Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership presence and the ability to influence at senior client levels.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
