Senior Cyber Security Analyst (6-Month Contract)
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, 5 days per week

About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to lead enterprise security assessments and support strategic cybersecurity improvements across a Cisco and Meraki-based environment. This role requires a hands-on cybersecurity professional with strong experience in GAP analysis, network security, and stakeholder engagement within complex IT and OT environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity GAP assessments across policies, procedures, network architecture, and security controls
- Evaluate Cisco and Meraki environments to identify vulnerabilities, configuration issues, and improvement opportunities
- Develop remediation plans, security recommendations, and implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with IT, network engineering, and operational technology teams to support security initiatives
- Provide recommendations to improve monitoring, incident response, and escalation processes
- Support vulnerability management activities, including prioritization and remediation tracking
- Review and enhance security standards, documentation, and governance practices
- Provide expertise in network security, segmentation, identity and access management, and secure access strategies
- Participate in long-term cybersecurity architecture and modernization initiatives
Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or security architecture
- Proven experience conducting cybersecurity GAP analyses in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Meraki infrastructure
- Solid understanding of network security concepts including firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and secure access
- Experience working in hybrid IT/OT or manufacturing environments is preferred
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to present technical findings and risk assessments to leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting security transformation initiatives across multi-site organizations
- Familiarity with cloud security technologies such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of identity security solutions including MFA, SSO, and Zero Trust principles
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CySA+, or Cisco Meraki certifications
CompensationCompensation will be based on experience, technical expertise, education, certifications, and market conditions, in accordance with applicable Ontario employment standards and pay transparency practices.

Pay: $90.00-$120.00 per hour
