Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior IT Administrator serves as the organization's highest-level technical escalation point, responsible for the stability, security, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure and business-critical systems. Operating within a demanding manufacturing and aviation environment, this role bridges IT and Operational Technology (OT), partnering with production, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless system availability across all shifts.
The successful candidate brings deep expertise in Windows server environments, virtualization and network architecture, combined with the communication skills to translate complex technical challenges into actionable business solutions
Key Responsibilities:1. Advanced Technical Support (L3 Escalation)- Serve as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement durable, long-term remediation strategies
- Develop and maintain runbooks, escalation procedures, and post-incident review documentation.
2. IT Infrastructure Administration- Administer Windows Server Environment, Active Directory (AD), and the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Deploy and manage Hyper-V virtual machines, physical servers, RAID storage arrays, and NAS systems
- Oversee user lifecycle management: account provisioning, role-based access controls, and deprovisioning
- Monitor system health, availability, and capacity; respond proactively to alerts and performance trends
- Execute patch management cycles and endpoint protection strategies across all managed assets
- Maintain and test backup processes and disaster recovery (DR) plans to meet defined RTO/RPO targets
- Administer VPN, remote access solutions, and site-to-site network connectivity
3. Network Administration- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall rule sets
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network segmentation, access control policies, and compliance requirements
4. ERP System Administration- Administer and support the organization's ERP platform (SAP, Microsoft D365, AX 2012 etc.)
- Manage ERP user roles and permission structures.
5. IT/OT Coordination & Manufacturing Support- Act as the IT liaison for operational technology systems at the intersection of shopfloor and enterprise environments
- Support production-critical systems and ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing and aviation operations
- Generate operational, compliance, and management reports to inform leadership decision-making
6. Vendor, Documentation & Compliance- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software licenses, and third-party service contracts
- Maintain accurate IT documentation: network diagrams, system configurations, SOPs, and change records
- Support internal and external audits with evidence collection and control documentation
Required Qualifications- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
