Our client, an IT services and technology consulting organization, is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the Technical Services team supporting managed services clients and project delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent client-facing communication, and a security-focused technical mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Technical Analyst
Location: Greater Vancouver Area (hybrid – on-site and remote)
Pay Range: $85,000 – $100,000 per year + bonus
What’s the Job?- Act as the senior technical lead and trusted advisor for assigned managed services clients, owning the technical quality, stability, and security of their environments
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support, advanced troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft platform issues
- Design, implement, and support Cisco Meraki networking solutions (MX, MS, MR), including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and network architecture
- Lead and deliver Microsoft infrastructure projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations, Azure AD implementations, Windows Server upgrades, and network refresh initiatives
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, diagrams, and customer-facing communications, and provide technical input during pre-sales activities
This role includes:- Customer-facing technical leadership and consulting
- Ownership of project delivery, technical outcomes, and issue resolution
- Infrastructure design, architecture, and complex problem-solving
- Proactive identification of risks and opportunities for improvement
This role does not include:- Tier 1 or Tier 2 helpdesk queue ownership
- Direct sales targets, account management, or contract negotiation
- Vendor procurement or purchasing authority
- SOC operations or continuous security monitoring
- Direct people management unless specifically assigned
What’s Needed?- 7–10 years of experience in a managed services or multi-client IT environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR) networking solutions
- Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft infrastructure projects
- Solid technical knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalling, and VPN technologies
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware and/or Hyper-V), backup and disaster recovery solutions, and PowerShell scripting (preferred)
- Backup and DR solutions, and PowerShell scripting.
- Customer-facing consulting experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
