Senior / Principal Mining Engineer (Consulting)
$180,000 β $240,000 base salary | Hybrid / Flexible | Canada (Western Canada preferred)
An exciting opportunity to join a specialist global engineering consultancy delivering mining studies and technical advisory work across Canada and internationally.
This is a chance to play a key role in a growing Canadian consulting team, supporting projects across multiple commodities while working closely with highly experienced technical teams across global offices.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and/or support open pit and underground mine planning & design
- Develop production schedules, equipment selection, and optimization studies
- Contribute to or lead scoping, PFS, FS, and technical study work
- Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and technical reviews
- For Principal level β own client relationships, mentor engineers, and help shape project pipelines
Your Profile:- 7+ years (Senior) or 12+ years (Principal / Technical Lead) in mining consulting, studies, or technical services
- Degree in Mining Engineering (geology exposure is a strong asset)
- Strong experience with mine planning software and study processes
- Ability to work independently on technical deliverables while collaborating across distributed teams
- Strong understanding of the Canadian mining environment
- Experience with open pit, underground, and multi-commodity projects is highly valued

In addtion:A Senior Exploration / Resource Geologist opportunity will also be opening as part of this growing Canadian team. This role will focus on resource models, geological interpretation, mine planning inputs, and study support across scoping, PFS, and feasibility-level work.
Ideal for senior geologists with 7+ yearsβ experience in exploration, resource geology, or mine geology, particularly those who enjoy working closely with mining engineers and seeing geological inputs directly influence mine plans, project economics, and strategic decisions.
