Who are you?As a Senior Project Manager (SPM), you will lead the successful delivery of commercial / retail construction and fit‑out projects from feasibility through close‑out. You will oversee multiple workstreams across design, procurement, construction, and handover while providing leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and junior team members. This role requires strong technical competence, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior Project Manager dedicated to this Enterprise Account you will be involved in;
Project Delivery & Technical Oversight- Lead and manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, furniture installation, I.T. coordination, commissioning, and close-out.
- Review, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify risks, gaps, and constructability issues.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, landlords, and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure design and construction compliance.
- Conduct regular site visits as required to monitor progress, quality, safety, and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, resolving issues efficiently and escalating when appropriate.
Procurement, Commercial & Contract Management- Lead procurement strategies, including tendering, evaluation, recommendation, and appointment of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Establish, negotiate, and manage quotations, purchase orders, and contracts, including Master Service Agreements.
- Monitor costs, manage change control, and ensure accurate financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Process and certify payments to consultants, contractors, and direct vendors in coordination with the consultant team.
Client & Stakeholder Management- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing clear, timely, and strategic communication.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings including client meetings, design coordination meetings, contractor meetings, and site meetings.
- Manage client expectations while balancing scope, schedule, quality, and budget constraints across multiple concurrent projects.
- Prepare and deliver clear project updates, reports, and presentations to senior client representatives.
Leadership & Team Development- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Project Managers and other team members, fostering professional development and best practices.
