About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior RF Optimization Engineer with over 10 years of North American telecom experience to lead performance improvements across LTE and 5G (NSA & SA) networks. This role requires a subject-matter expert capable of diagnosing complex KPI issues and performing deep Layer 1/Layer 3 analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead RF optimization for 3G, LTE, and 5G networks, including shared RAN and MOCN environments.
- Optimize Radio Resource Management (RRM) functions, including handover performance and load balancing.
- Troubleshoot VoLTE and VoNR call setup success rates and voice quality.
- Monitor and improve network KPIs for accessibility, retainability, and integrity.
- Perform root cause analysis using drive test logs, OSS counters, and signaling traces.
- Implement antenna optimization and interference mitigation strategies.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of RF Optimization experience in Canada or North America.
- Hands-on expertise in Nokia or Ericsson RAN environments and OSS platforms (ENM, MantaRay).
- Strong knowledge of LTE & NR layers (PHY/MAC/RRC) and Massive MIMO.
- Experience with tools like TEMS Discovery, Nemo Analyzer, or Actix.
Pay:$81,472.05-$159,352.59 per year

- LTE & NR PHY / MAC / RRC layers: 5 years (preferred)
- VoLTE and VoNR architecture and troubleshooting: 5 years (preferred)
- Massive MIMO and beamforming: 5 years (preferred)
- Carrier Aggregation and interference mitigation: 5 years (preferred)
- delivering KPI improvements in live Tier 1 networks: 3 years (preferred)
