The Role

We’re hiring an experienced Service Electrician to join our team, with an opportunity to relocate to Central Vancouver Island.

Based out of our Parksville office, you’ll complete service work across Port Alberni, Oceanside, Nanaimo, Duncan, and Tofino. This is a hands-on service role focused on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer interaction across a mix of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems (residential & commercial)
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and team members
• Work independently while representing Osprey professionally on-site
• Participate in the on-call rotation with appropriate compensation

Qualifications/Skills

• Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman electrical certification
• Proven service experience in residential and commercial environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional, customer-focused attitude
• Experience with data cabling and fiber optics considered an asset
• Light industrial experience considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Ability to pass a criminal record check
• Tech literate with the ability to use mobile apps, job management software, and digital documentation
