Deloitte is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ServiceNow SAMPro Specialist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Software Asset Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate software asset data, executing license compliance activities, and supporting the development of Effective License Positions (ELPs) within ServiceNow SAMPro. This role will support audit readiness, optimize software assets, and ensure compliance with major software publishers.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating within ServiceNow SAMPro to ensure the accuracy and integrity of software asset data. Your day-to-day activities will include validating and updating software models, creating and maintaining software model records, and normalizing discovery data to support ongoing compliance efforts. You will configure license metrics, entitlements, and reconciliation rules, as well as manage license allocations and reallocation processes to optimize software usage. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve executing reconciliation jobs, interpreting results, and developing Effective License Positions (ELPs) for multiple tier 1 publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, and VMware.
When automation is not available, you will perform manual license position calculations using large datasets, ensuring that all compliance requirements are met. You will analyze procurement, entitlement, deployment, and contract data to identify compliance risks and opportunities for optimization. Additionally, you will play a critical role in supporting audit readiness, responding to audit data requests for major publishers, and proactively identifying normalization and data quality issues to drive remediation efforts. Preparing and delivering comprehensive reporting—such as compliance summaries, optimization recommendations, and KPI dashboards—will be an integral part of your contribution to the team’s success.
