OverviewAylsham Agro is seeking a reliable truck driver to join our team. This role involves delivery of anhydrous ammonia from our storage sites to our customers. All deliveries are within 50 km of our main office. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy equipment efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on timely deliveries and excellent service.
Duties- Safely operate tandem heavy truck
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
Qualifications- Valid class 1A license
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatcher and team members
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Other Aspects- All driving is local within 50 kilometers of main office
- Minimal physical work required
- Working evenings and weekends will be required
- No mechanical skills necessary other than daily fluid and circle check
- Modern on-site accommodations provided
