OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and possess a strong understanding of construction site safety and efficiency. This role requires proficiency in ASV RT40 and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring project completion with precision and safety.
Duties- Operate skid steer loaders with precision, adhering to project specifications and safety protocols
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials around construction sites
- Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Support site preparation activities including grading, paving, and end of day cleanup
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately
Requirements- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders (5 years experience required)
- Must have residential grading experience of at least 5 years
- Must have experience with truck and trailer, loading and securing equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Knowledge of construction processes including grading and site safety practices
- Ability to operate Bobcat MT100 and ASV RT40 equipment or similar brands effectively and tight spaces
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation in construction settings is mandatory
