Job SummaryReporting to the Director of Home Care Services, the Social and Community Service Worker is the bridge between a family in crisis and the support they desperately need. This role blends the heart of social service with the precision of business operations. She/he will manage incoming calls, inquiries, and referrals, including navigating the complexities of home care, ensuring every lead is nurtured, every record is accurate in ZOHO CRM, and the Qualicare brand is actively represented within the local healthcare ecosystem.
She/he should be able to balance administrative rigor with genuine community engagement, while ensuring that no senior or family in our community has to navigate the aging process alone.
ResponsibilitiesClient Intake & Communication- Respond to incoming calls, website inquiries, and referrals
- Support booking of in-home care assessments
- Gather initial client information and support intake documentation
- Draft follow-up messages and ensure timely responses to leads
CRM & Administrative Support- Maintain and update client and lead records in ZOHO CRM
- Track inquiries and follow-ups to ensure strong client conversion
- Support scheduling coordination when required
Business Development Support- Research community organizations, clinics, and partners for outreach
- Assist in preparing contact lists and tracking engagement activities
Community Engagement- Promote services within the community
- Support outreach to local organizations and partners
Administrative & Operations Support- Maintain accurate records of client inquiries and follow-ups
- Support coordination of appointments and scheduling as needed
- Monitor incoming leads (phone, website, referrals) to ensure timely response and no missed opportunities
Qualifications- Aged 15–30 years and legally eligible to work in Canada (CSJ requirement).
- Must be citizen, permanent resident or refugee status (CSJ requirement).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable speaking with clients and families over the phone
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Interest in healthcare, business, or community services is an asset
Preferred (not required):- Experience in customer service, administration, or community support roles
- Background or studies in health, social sciences, or business
