About the Project

We produce documentary-style videos that render poetic prose and fiction into explorations of current political realities. Drawing inspiration from the investigative and atmospheric style of filmmakers like Adam Curtis, we use curated stock footage to create 4–8 minute visual essays. Our mission is to challenge the standard digital narrative by blending high-level literature with a deep critique of the modern world.

The Role

We are seeking a culturally informed and technically savvy individual to lead our digital outreach and platform management. You will be responsible for taking our documentary-style prose videos and strategically placing them in front of the right audiences. This role requires an understanding of how to navigate "the discourse"—identifying the digital and physical spaces where literature meets contemporary political and philosophical thought.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Research: Identify and vet venues (political salons, galleries, university hubs) and digital communities where deep-form intellectual content thrives.
• Intellectual Outreach: Liaise with like-minded channels, thinkers, and creators who engage with the intersection of art, history, and current events.
• Content Adaptation: Perform light editing to adapt our 4–8 minute films into high-impact "Shorts" or "Reels," specifically selecting clips that highlight the most poignant political or philosophical themes.
• Platform Orchestration: Establish and manage our presence on platforms like YouTube, Substack, and other relevant platforms, ensuring our voice remains both artistically elevated and socially relevant.

• Visually & Politically Literate: You understand this style of visual storytelling—using imagery to heighten the impact of complex ideas.
• Culturally Aware: You have your finger on the pulse of current events and understand how literary fiction can mirror or challenge modern political realities.
• Technically Capable: Proficient in light video editing (CapCut, preferred) to repurpose finished films for social media.
• A Natural Connector: You can communicate with intellectuals and institutions with professional poise.
