EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONSCurrently a candidate for a Master's or Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field with an accredited school in Canada.
As a part of our team, you will:- Work with real-world scenarios that customers encounter when using NSP software in large-scale environments, gaining hands-on experience with the full NSP portfolio across a range of product areas and capabilities, while partnering with other R&D teams and Product Line Managers.
- Identify, diagnose, and address product issues discovered by customers or during internal testing, and contribute to implementing effective solutions.
- Leverage insights from customer use cases to suggest and implement meaningful improvements in NSP.
- Create testing approaches and build test cases, which may include simulating various network management activities, configuring labs to reflect real-world scenarios, or developing automated tests
- Experience with Linux console environments. You’re comfortable using basic Linux commands to complete technical tasks.
- Programming proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, Python, Perl, or shell scripting. Familiarity with XML, Ansible, or JavaScript is also beneficial.
- Strong technical reasoning skills. You’re capable of identifying setup or system issues and thinking through possible actions to resolve them during installation or usage.

- Foundational knowledge of databases, virtualization, networking, or version control systems—these can contribute to your effectiveness in the role.
