We are a busy and established Chinese noodle restaurant in Halifax seeking an experienced Specialty Cook specializing in traditional Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles (Lamian).

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in authentic noodle preparation techniques and be able to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook traditional Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles
• Perform dough mixing, kneading, resting, and noodle pulling by hand
• Prepare beef broth and related ingredients according to traditional recipes
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
• Assist with kitchen prep and daily operations
• Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are met

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Chinese hand-pulled noodle preparation
• Strong manual noodle pulling skills (essential)
• Experience in Chinese kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic English communication is an asset

• $30/hour (paid hourly)
• Full-time permanent position
• Stable working hours
