Position: Sr. Manager, Business Systems Analyst (Global Equity Technology)

Location: Hybrid, 1x per week in office (Toronto, Downtown)

Structure: Permanent, FTE

Pay: Up to $140,000 base salary

Requirements:

• 10+ years of capital markets data analysis experience
• Hands-on Python (critical): connecting to data sources, parsing nested JSON data
• Kafka and Elasticsearch: real-time data streaming, analysis, and pipeline work
• Apache NiFi: candidate must understand how data flows through NiFi pipelines
• SQL and Excel (pivots, macros) for day-to-day data analysis
• ETL / data transformation experience
• FIX message protocol and API tooling (Postman, REST APIs)
• Vendor/platform experience: Fidessa, Broadridge, Bloomberg, Reuters/Refinitiv
• Reporting tools: Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects
• Equities lifecycle knowledge: institutional equity trading, order management, regulatory frameworks
• Strong communication skills: ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior business leaders
