Customer Services Coordinator & Technical Support
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional technical support and customer service to clients, ensuring their IT-related issues are resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of computer networking and operating systems, and experience with various support tools. The Customer Service Coordinator will serve as a vital link between our technical teams and customers, maintaining high standards of service quality and technical expertise.
Responsibilities- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via help desk platforms and support channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and network connectivity (LAN, Firewall)
- Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and other ticketing systems to document and manage support requests
- Assist customers with VPN setup, configuration, and connectivity issues
- Support software troubleshooting efforts across multiple operating systems and platforms
- Provide guidance on computer hardware maintenance and upgrades
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical issues when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and solutions provided
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users
- Stay updated on new technologies, operating systems, and security protocols to improve support quality
Experience- Proven experience in IT support, help desk roles, or desktop support environments
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, firewall configuration, and VPN connections
- Experience using support management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy
- Strong understanding of software troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Knowledge of network security protocols and firewall management is a plus
