The BranchThe Education Analytics Branch (EAB) supports the analysis and dissemination of data by developing reports and tools for public, school board and ministry use to inform policy development, instructional practice, and system management. EAB works with ministry-wide stakeholders to broaden the use of analytics in the ministry and is the central point of contact for other jurisdictions concerning education statistics.
About the jobYou will:
- Provide strategic advice, evaluation and recommendations to senior management on a range of statistical analysis, educational issues and data
- Provide project leadership, coaching and guidance to staff
- Develop, prepare and present reports, analysis and briefing materials for senior management and stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth analysis of data to meet ministry requirements.
- Plan and lead complex research studies to address issues, inform ministry policy and program development
