Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth to meet business objectives. Bilingual skills and prior supervisory experience are highly valued to facilitate effective team management and customer interactions.
Duties- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve high performance standards
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and purchasing activities to optimize store profitability
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns aligned with marketing plans
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Handle cash handling procedures accurately and maintain proper bookkeeping records
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing supplies and managing inventory levels effectively
- Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Skills- Proven leadership and team management capabilities with supervising experience in retail settings
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and sales strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping software
- Sound knowledge of merchandising, pricing, marketing, and sales management techniques
- Ability to recruit, interview, and develop staff through effective training & development programs
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and administrative tasks
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Budgeting expertise with experience in payroll processing and financial oversight
- Customer service orientation with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Math skills necessary for sales calculations, pricing adjustments, and financial reporting
