or Full-time (July–August, with potential for ongoing work)
About UsWe are a learning centre dedicated to supporting neurodiverse children in a way that honours who they are—not who the world expects them to be. Our environment is calm, relationship-based, and rooted in emotional safety, connection, and individualized support.
This is not a typical summer camp.
The RoleAs part of our summer team, you’ll be working closely with neurodiverse children in a small-group setting. This role is about building trust, supporting regulation, and creating an environment where each child feels safe to be themselves.
You’ll spend your days:
- Supporting children through activities at their own pace
- Helping co-regulate during moments of overwhelm
- Encouraging connection, confidence, and independence
- Working alongside a team that values patience and presence
Who This Is ForThis role is a strong fit for someone who:
- Leads with empathy, patience, and curiosity
- Feels drawn to supporting neurodiverse children
- Is calm, grounded, and emotionally aware
- Values connection over control
- Is studying or experienced in education, psychology, child & youth care—or has relevant lived experience
What to Expect- A supportive, values-aligned team environment
- Small group sizes
- Meaningful, relationship-based work
- Opportunities to grow within the centre
This work can be deeply rewarding—but it also requires emotional presence, flexibility, and genuine care.
Requirements- Experience working with children (professional or personal)
- Criminal record check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)

“Why does this kind of work matter to you?”

We are looking for people who don’t just want a summer job—but who feel called to create a space where children feel understood.
