SMS Equipment is looking for a Supervisor, Warranty & Contracts to support key warranty and contract functions across the business. Reporting to the Manager, Warranty and Contracts, this role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, development, and training of the warranty team, along with analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting overall warranty operations. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in ensuring efficient processes, strong team performance, and effective support of the warranty function.

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 Annually
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – providing the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
What You’ll Do- Supervise, coordinate, and balance workloads for Corporate Warranty personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent service
- Lead, coach, train, and mentor employees, including providing performance feedback, development support, and input into evaluations and vacation planning
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, systems, and warranty standards
- Lead the development and delivery of warranty training, onboarding materials, work instructions, and workflow documentation across corporate and branch teams
- Support core warranty operations including claims job sharing, factory campaigns, OEM labour rate submissions, and system and rate updates
- Oversee warranty tools, databases, and SharePoint resources to ensure information accuracy and accessibility
- Prepare and review warranty reporting, including analysis of WIP, AR, costs, risks, and recovery
- Collaborate with OEMs, branches, IT, Sales, Finance, and Service to support warranty setup, vendor onboarding, and process improvements
- Act as a key liaison for branch warranty support, assist with continuous improvement initiatives, and provide coverage in the Manager’s absence
What You BringThe successful candidate will bring prior office administration experience along with demonstrated warranty experience, enabling them to confidently support warranty processes, documentation, and day‑to‑day administrative operations in a fast‑paced environment.
Other requirements include:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Previous accounting knowledge considered an asset
- Strong computer proficiency, including data manipulation, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internal electronic systems
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly provide and exchange information
- Excellent time management, prioritization, critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail
