Looking for team drivers for long haul Canada and US
Responsibilities- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Must be able to get to job site on time for loading.
- Must complete required loads per day
- Must be able to maintain a clean and organized shared space with co-driver
Qualifications- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
