We specialize in roadside assistance, mobile repair, and in-shop service for trailers, reefers and Trucks. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Technical Over the Road Service Coordinator to join our remote support team.
Position Summary:This position is a remote, work-from-home role that supports Apex customers across North America experiencing over-the-road equipment breakdowns. You will be the first point of contact for customers and drivers, providing technical support, dispatching vendors, and ensuring timely service resolution. Technical knowledge of Transport Trucks, Trailers and Reefers is a must
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and respond to incoming phone calls and emails from drivers, fleet managers, and customers
- Monitoring Reefer Units Over Satellite
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for transport trailers, reefer units, tires, tucks, towing and fuel delivery
- Dispatch qualified mobile service vendors to breakdown locations across North America
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to provide updates and manage expectations
- Accurately log and track breakdown details, service calls, and vendor updates in internal systems
- Work efficiently under pressure, prioritizing incidents based on severity and downtime
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service vendors to ensure fast, reliable coverage
Qualifications:- 2+ years experience in a technical role in the transportation industry (trailer/reefer/truck knowledge is a must).
- Working knowledge of reefer units (Carrier and Thermo King), trailer systems, and trucks.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace at home.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatch or fleet management software (e.g., TMT, Samsara, Fleetio – a plus).

Schedule:- Full-time
- Must be available for some evening or weekend coverage as part of an on-call rotation
