Job SummaryWe are currently hiring a Trailer Service Technician with 2–3 years of hands-on workshop experience supporting trailer equipment maintenance.
This role is suited for a non-licensed technician who has practical, real-world experience working in trailer repair shop, fleet maintenance facility and is comfortable performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must have their own basic hand tools.
Specialized tools and shop equipment will be provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on commercial trailers
- Inspect, diagnose, and service:
- Air brake systems
- Suspension systems
- Axles, hubs, and wheel-end components
- Electrical and lighting systems
- Landing gear, couplers, and trailer hardware
- Conduct routine safety inspections and identify mechanical issues
- Assist senior mechanics with complex repairs as required
- Complete work orders and maintain service documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Qualifications- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a trailer repair shop, fleet maintenance facility.
- Practical knowledge of trailer systems and diesel-related components
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of performing shop-based work
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)- Experience working with commercial or fleet trailers
- Familiarity with air brake systems
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read service manuals and work instructions
